Separate business revenue from personal income

The amount paid by customers must cover delivery, support, and other operating costs. Only the remaining amount can contribute to your income. An attractive sales total can conceal an arrangement that pays everyone except the owner.

When someone else delivers part of the service, include that cost before judging the model. A price that covers your own unpaid effort may not support dependable external help.
