End a failed partnership without losing the next part of your life
A clear resolution can be worth more than an endless attempt to prove who was right.
When the partnership cannot continue, work toward a fair and explicit resolution. Preserve responsibilities to the company and its stakeholders during the process. Starting again does not erase existing obligations. Get suitable help with the necessary settlement.
Separate that settlement from the desire for vindication. A prolonged dispute can consume more time and energy than the disputed value. An imperfect outcome may preserve the capacity to build again. Include that future capacity when you judge the available choices.
A clean end does not make the earlier work meaningless. It prevents the past from controlling every next decision. Keep the lessons that improve your judgment. Let the next partnership benefit from what the previous one taught you.
