Look for overlooked truths
A useful insight is something true that others have missed.
An insight does not need to be secret in the usual sense. People can hear it and still fail to understand its importance. Your task is to demonstrate it through results. Approval from everyone is unnecessary.
Unusual ideas deserve tests when they address a real need. Many will fail. Those failures can reveal the rare combination that works. Creativity grows through repeated attempts, not only through private reflection.
