Preserve the freedom that made you start
The project should give you a reason to engage deeply with life, not only a reason to defend an image.
Fear of reputation can make a founder cautious before anyone knows the company. You can spend more effort imagining judgment than doing the work. Early obscurity can instead give you room to learn.
Be willing to look inexperienced while you become capable. Be willing to admit that the first idea failed. Other people’s expectations do not need to write the whole path.
Enjoy the parts of the work that drew you to it. Curiosity, useful relationships, and the freedom to build matter alongside the outcome. The effort becomes more sustainable when it has meaning in the present.
Passion is not only pleasure. It also appears in the difficulties you are willing to face repeatedly. Learn what work you remain willing to do when the easy reward disappears.
