Make the useful part excellent
A focused product that works is better than a complete product that fails at its main job.
Customers can accept missing features when the central experience is valuable. They are less forgiving when the product promises many things and performs none well. Choose a small promise that you can deliver.
This is the difference between incomplete and unreliable. An incomplete product leaves some work outside its scope. An unreliable product fails inside the scope that it claims to cover.
Ship the focused version, then use customer behavior to guide the next addition. This preserves speed without using speed as an excuse for poor quality.
