Adapt selling when conditions change
A changed environment can require a different route to trust.
Customers may take longer to decide or need more evidence. Personal contact may become harder. Review the path from first conversation to completed sale. Identify where prospects stop and what helps them continue.
Written explanations may need to carry more of the work. Make them useful and easy to understand. A demonstration or educational conversation can help when it addresses a real question. Repeating a fashionable event format does not automatically create trust.
Adjust expectations when the whole market changes. Do not blame one salesperson for a shared obstacle. Support the team’s energy while improving the method. A difficult period can require sustained effort, not a brief burst of enthusiasm.
