Use milestones and short deadlines
Set deadlines for action and use evidence to unlock larger commitments.
You can decide when to speak to customers or finish a test. You cannot decide that customers will want the result by a particular date. Keep that distinction clear. A calendar is useful for effort, but it is not proof of demand.
Define the evidence required for the next step. It can be repeat use, paid demand, a working technical result, or another relevant signal. Then complete the smallest useful test quickly. Change the next action when the result changes your understanding.
Do not build a detailed future on untested assumptions. Long projections can create false confidence. A simple budget and a clear experiment often reveal more. Planning becomes stronger as real information replaces guesses.
