Keep novelty where it helps
Change a familiar method when the change improves the result.
You do not need to invent every part of the business. New distribution, new production, new pricing, and new partnerships each introduce uncertainty. Combining too many untested changes can make failure hard to diagnose. Use established methods where they serve the goal.
A product can look simple while the underlying business is unusual. The advantage may come from how you obtain supplies, serve customers, or share work with partners. Search for the part that makes the economics different. Do not assume the visible feature contains the whole business.
