Let customer use change the product
Your goal is a useful business, not proof that your first idea was correct.
Customers may use a product in a way that you did not expect. If that use creates value, examine it. Do not force the original plan onto behavior that reveals a better opportunity.
Use available demand signals as clues. Search behavior, customer questions, purchase patterns, and interest in a subject can help you choose what to investigate. A signal still needs a product and a way to reach buyers.
The idea becomes useful through product quality, distribution, customer experience, and the ability to deliver. An interesting trend does not remove any of that work.
